This track is unique because it contains tracks from *other plunderphonics albums*. It has "The Starting Line" by Neil Cicierega because that has a really great buildup. There's also "I'm Not Famous" by Patricia Taxxon, which is sort of the logical conclusion of plunderphonics: the entire namesake AJR song left completely unmodified, but re-contextualized by the album surrounding it.
lyrics
One, two
Three, four
Can I have a little more?
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
I love you
A B C D
Can I bring my friend to tea?
E F G H I J
I love you
Bom bom bom
Bompa bom, sail the ship
Bompa bom, chop the tree
Bompa bom, sail the ship
Bompa bom, chop the tree
Yoput one up shackle me, not clean logic procreation
I did not invent the wheel I was the crooked spoke adjacent
While the triple sixers lassos keep angels roped in the basement
I walk the block with a halo and a stick poking your patience
Ya'll catch a 30 second flash visual [So, it's magic]
Dirty cooperative Neptune blue head hurt splits [You know]
Ridiculous fathom the splicing of first generation [So, it's magic]
fuck up or trickle down anti hero smack (Cracking!) [You know]
This is the story of a girl
It's been one week since you've looked at me
Somebody once told me
The world is a vampire
I got another confession to make
Where my haters, where my haters?
I don't got 'em, I'm not famous, no
It don't matter what my name is
I don't got one, I'm not famous, no
And I don't hate it, no
This is how we do it
You've never heard of me
Or the weird shit I do and say
That's my favorite thing
That I'm not famous, no
And I'm never on TV
Throwing up on an LA street
rly dense, interesting mashup album. goes far beyond "acapella and instrumental" and into some rly accomplished and exciting plunderphonics Allison Fleischer
gorgeous lofi ambient pop album. has a lot of surprises and refuses to really show its hand at first. deeply personal and affected me in ways i cant rly describe Allison Fleischer
