Finally, a longer track! These get more common as the album progresses and solidifies as it goes. Billie Eilish is fun to sample, since her music is very impactful yet has relatively few elements to worry about clashing (as long as you mind the bass). It adds a sense of intensity to Tyler's track, which on its own is a pretty depressing song.
The second half of the track leans more into the lethargic feel of the original sample (we can feel the album slowly start to get heavier), but there's still many layers of memes to be found.
lyrics
Bitch, fuck!
Uh, uh, fuck
You have a question?
How many cars can I buy 'til I run out of drive? (Visions I vandalize)
How much drive can I have until I run out of road? (Cold in my kingdom size)
How much road can they pave until I run out of land? (Fell for these ocean eyes)
How much land can there be until I run in the ocean?
N***as go with the motions and all the plans (You should see me in a crown)
See, I was never into the beaches and all the sands (I'm gonna run this nothing town)
See, I was in the woods with flowers, rainbows and posies (Watch me make 'em bow, one by one by one)
Falling outta my pocket, but ya'll want to know if I swam to cool down (One by one by, you should see me in a crown)
How much cooler can I get until I run out of fans? (Your silence is my favorite sound)
How many fans can I have until they turn on the AC? (Watch me make 'em bow, one by one by one)
If the AC blows, well then I'm TNT, I'm gone (One by one by one)
I'm gone and I'm finished
And I ain't seen my friends in a minute
Guessing nothing lasts forever
Yeah, nothing lasts forever
Nothing sticks together
Sick of sitting in doubt
Please let me figure this out
Shout out to the girls that I lead on (Lights out, guerrilla radio!)
For occasional head and always keepin' my bed warm (Turn that shit up!)
And trying their hardest to keep my head on straight (Lights out, guerrilla radio!)
And keepin' me up enough 'til I had thought I was airborne (Turn that shit up!)
How many raps can I write 'til I get me a chain? (Lights out, guerrilla radio!)
How many chains can I wear 'til I'm considered a slave? (Turn that shit up!)
How many slaves can it be 'til Nat Turner arise? (Lights out, guerrilla radio!)
How many riots can it be until them Black lives matter? (Turn that shit up! Cont-)
N***as click clack splatter, pew
'Cause I know what I'm drivin' is usually paid in full (Yuuuuuu)
And my ego and possessions, will not let me be one, nah (I'm jocking on yo', I'm jocking on yo')
Because I got a mansion, my mansion got some rooms (And if we get to fightin' then)
Them rooms got some windows and my windows got some views (I'm cocking on yo', Then I'm cocking on yo')
Them views get some stares and my backyard does too (You catch me at yo' local party)
And if you walk to the bottom you'll prolly see a pool (Yes, I crank it everyday)
You better not drown, keep them ten toes up (Haters gettin' mad 'cause)
'Cause if them ten toes down, that mean that you fucked up ("I got me some Bathin' Ape")
And that's what I swim in
And if I drown (Soulja Boy off in this ho) [Let the sky fall]
And don't come back (Watch me crank it, watch me roll) [When it crumbles]
Who's gonna know? (Watch me crank dat Soulja Boy) [We will stand tall]
Maybe then I'll know (Then Superman that ho) [Face it all together]
And if I crash (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy) [Let the sky fall]
And don't come back (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy) [When it crumbles]
Who's gonna know? (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy) [We will stand tall]
Maybe then I'll know (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy) [Face it all together, at Skyfall]
And if I fall (Soulja Boy off in this ho) [Let the sky fall]
And don't come back (Watch me crank it, watch me roll)
Who's gonna know? (Watch me crank dat Soulja Boy) [We will stand tall]
Maybe then I'll know (Then Superman that ho)
I'm wondering if (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy) [At Skyfall]
I don't come back (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy)
(Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy)
Maybe then I'll know (Now watch me yuuuuuuu, crank dat Soulja Boy)
(I'm bouncin' on my toes)
(Watch me supersoak that ho)
Don't come back
Don't come back
Hey
Don't come back
Don't come back
No, no
rly dense, interesting mashup album. goes far beyond "acapella and instrumental" and into some rly accomplished and exciting plunderphonics Allison Fleischer
gorgeous lofi ambient pop album. has a lot of surprises and refuses to really show its hand at first. deeply personal and affected me in ways i cant rly describe Allison Fleischer
