That outro is pretty explicitly political, huh? The lefty politics thing in this album is getting more and more blatant as it progresses.
Also, since I know you're wondering: This track samples a cover of "Korok Forest" from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The cover was made by Ace Waters. The "Alek why" clip is Ace Waters livestreaming, just after she read my chat message describing the concept of this track. Unfortunately the archive has presumably been lost forever, but her reaction has thankfully been immortalized in the track itself.
lyrics
I know how we are. We're swearing, we're upset, we're horny on main, I get it. OK? That's how we are. We're human beings. But here's the thing, right? Is,
we're approaching E3
we're approaching E3
we're approaching E3
we're approaching E3
Wheels spinnin' on my way outta town, way outta town (yeah)
They gon' look for me, look for me, I don't wanna be found (no)
Spinners on me, hypnotize, going around-round-round
They call me lost, maybe I'm lost, or maybe I'm finally found (yeah)
Monica in my life
A little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need
A little bit of Tina is what I see
A little bit of Sandra in the sun
A little bit of Mary all night long
A little bit of Jessica, here I am
A little bit of you makes me your man
Oh no. Alek, why? W-Why would you do that!?
Mambo Number 5!
Uh, nobody who is a Nazi sympathizer, don't, y'all don't get shoutouts. Uh, not in this household, so um... Yeah, guys, follow these rules if you want. Not really rules, just advice, you know, it's from me posting this, so, um... Yeah. You're welcome.
rly dense, interesting mashup album. goes far beyond "acapella and instrumental" and into some rly accomplished and exciting plunderphonics Allison Fleischer
gorgeous lofi ambient pop album. has a lot of surprises and refuses to really show its hand at first. deeply personal and affected me in ways i cant rly describe Allison Fleischer
